Recently there was a news on discussion that was take over of telecom industry. Vodafone and Hutch merger was a hot topic in the world. After this Vodafone is now a big player in this industry because this was a great and big deal.
Similarly now, agin in India there is new news on telecommunication. It is also a story of merger. Idea has taken over of Spice mobile. We know, Aditya Birla group telecom known as Idea mobile. It is also a big merger within Indian competetor. Most subscriber of Idea is in Mumbai.
About it economic times writes, “...It is strategic fit for Idea and will propel it to the top league in the Indian telecom sector, he added. The company, close to rolling out operations in Mumbai, Bihar, Tamil Nadu and Orissa circles, has outlined a capex of Rs 10,000 crore of FY09 and FY10. The deal brings in the much needed money for rolling out operations in new circles...”
Most probably after this deal Idea will get about 4.5 million new subscriber.
